David Moreton CFA

David is an investment consultant with significant experience in a wide range of investment consultancy work including investment strategy reviews, funding advice, asset-liability modelling and investment manager selection.

He works with trustees and employers, helping them to understand their long-term investment aims, as well as the constraints around delivering on the scheme’s funding strategy. David focuses on developing pragmatic strategies for his clients, bespoke to their investment needs and consistent with their beliefs on investment.

• manager selection, monitoring and review
• de-risking strategies including the use of funding and market-based triggers
• asset-liability modelling

As well as his client responsibilities, David has carried out project work on behalf of the firm’s manager research team, helping develop the firm’s research on Institutional Managers in the UK pensions market.
