As Platform Architect – using his knowledge and experience across all aspects of actuarial, DC and workplace consultancy – Luke now develops our platform proposition; designing and implementing our analytical governance tools used by our clients and advisors, as well as our 4Me employee benefits and engagement portal used by individual members and employees.

Luke has developed particular expertise in designing and developing our platform proposition across all practice areas within the business internally as well as helping many clients set and meet objectives through the use of technology lead analytics and engagement.

Alongside closely working with our own advisors and practice areas to design and develop our platform proposition, Luke also works with large UK clients to implement and bespoke the platform to meet their own objectives, working across reward management, pension management and trustee.

Significant experience: 
  • advising a range of large FTSE 250 clients on their strategy across reward, governance and engagement including the use of technology to deliver key objectives.
  • awarding winning platform - winner of DC Insight’s Technology Provider of the Year 2016

Career

Starting as an actuarial consultant in 2009, Luke gained valuable experience across all aspects of pensions and retirement savings starting to focus on defined benefit schemes spanning across trustee, corporate, investment and executive pensions. Luke moved into the Employer Consulting team in 2013 to further widen his experience, advising clients on DC and the wider financial savings market, qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty (FIA) and a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) in 2016. He was promoted to principal in 2021.

Interests

Outside of the office Luke has a keen love for the outdoors, describing himself as an enthusiastic beginner in pretty much anything that involves going up or down mountains; whether that involves two wheels, some snow or just a pair of trainers.
